INDIGENEITY WITH DR. JESSICA PEREA. THIS COURSE APPROACHES INDIGENEITY AS A CONCEPT, ANALYTIC, AND PROJECT VIA THE MANY WAYS INDIGENOUS PEOPLE EXPRESS THEIR PARTICULAR WAYS OF BEING, KNOWING, AND DOING IN THE WORLD. STUDENTS WILL CONSIDER LOCAL AND GLOBAL CONTEXTS TO BETTER UNDERSTAND THE DENSE AND RELATIONAL ASPECTS OF BELONGING, MIXTURE, HOMELANDS, DIASPORA, RESURGENCE, SOVEREIGNTY AND SELF-DETERMINATION, AND MORE.
